WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Support Sales manager, Shopkeepers and Business Navigation managers in store goal setting and forecasting: collect, consolidate, follow-up sales, gross margin goals and forecasts on HFB level. Ensure that Sales navigation in Service Office is updated. • Monitor and analyse information available in IKEA tools and reports with focus on finding potentials and opportunities for improvement (e.g. close the gap possibilities) and prepare conclusions, which will assist Sales manager, Core area Leaders, Shopkeepers to plan and steer sales and gross margin. • Analyse the results of sales mix to understand the impact on our gross margin and sales goals throughout the year and recommend appropriate actions, making sure actions are taken. • Communicate relevant business information and goals to Sales manager and Shopkeepers, in a way which engages and inspires them to create meaningful actions to achieve agreed goals. • Actively work with Shopkeepers to develop their knowledge of how to analyse and steer their business in sales and profitability. Find and share proven solutions and good examples. • Knowing the country and store commercial priorities and HFB top sellers in order to challenge and support Shopkeepers to use these priorities to drive HFB growth and profitability. • Monitor store competition attack budget and inform the Sales team about it (including conclusions from iCompete analysis), support in optimising sales mix to compensate price adjustment. • Use sales floor and interaction with customers as an effective tool to find new sales potentials/opportunities and verify the ones discovered in reports. • Proactively work with Sales manager, Commercial activity leader and Shopkeepers to make the most efficient use of price adjustments for UTGs, local commercial activities, competition attack, etc. • Support Business Navigation in compiling the bi-monthly financial reporting, specifically support with sales and gross margin forecasts on HFB level.
