With your long-standing experience in real estate markets, from either business owner or consultant perspective, you have learned to quickly assess the potential of locations and create feasible business cases based on market data, both at macro and micro level. You know the implications of retail real estate investment and how to value those in markets and have a broad knowledge and understanding of the essentials for investment in this space.

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
As the Expansion Manager at Ingka Centres you will lead a team that support Ingka Group Expansion and IKEA Retail in the sourcing of new locations for an IKEA touchpoint. Assess the need and potential for Ingka Centres to invest in identified locations with the aim to drive visitation and create value.
You will create the initial business case on the basis of desk research and obtain approval to free up risk money for further investigation. Involve Investment & Divestment subdomain to prepare for the initial Investment Return that opens up an investment process and lead an outstanding collaboration with other domains within Ingka Centres and Ingka Group Real Estate, Expansion and Retail teams within a broader Ingka landscape.
Amongst other things, you will:
• Be responsible for a timely and accurate reporting on potential investment opportunities • Contribute to the overall goals of Ingka Centres Expansion & Development domain by actively participating in the domain meetings • Leads and grows teams and people with our values in the core
In this role you will report to Jan Kristensson, our Expansion & Development Manager and be based in Malmö, Sweden.

The Expansion Manager role sits within our Expansion & Development domain whose purpose is to source, develop and establish meeting places that contribute to the expansion plans of IKEA Retail and drive visitation as well as steer towards optimizing the portfolio by investing in assets and divesting of assets.
